Visual Design Sprint
Outstanding visual design to help you stand out.
Not the same old/new schlock!
The robots are coming! It’s easier than ever to produce visual noise, but when there’s so much stuff out there how do you stand out? We think it starts with good, creative ideas, well-executed.
These sprints start with a strong concept, and maybe a bit of fun, followed by refined (but quick) execution for both digital and physical work. In the end you’ll get something that’s truly yours.
Lightweight approach, quality output
If you need custom visual design that reflects your brand in a unique way fast, then the Visual Design Sprint is for you. We’re pros at getting stuff out the door quickly, with the experience to avoid the small things that add up to lost time and cost overruns.
This sprint fits between the undifferentiated off the shelf work you’d get from Fiverr and full freight agency rates. Because your project deserves work as unique as your voice that stands out.
Sprint Examples
A Visual Design Sprint can include any number of things, but here are some examples of challenges our clients have used us for:
- Concept, art direction and assets for a new podcast.
- Quick multi-channel digital advertising campaigns with landing pages.
- A quick visual identity for a startup prior to fundraising… and beyond.
- Interior graphics to make a unique space on a budget
- Custom t-shirts for a series of sponsored events
Outcomes
By the end of the one-week sprint you’ll have everything you need for launch or production.
For physical assets we’ll even coordinate with your producers to make sure they have what they need to get the production run right on the first go. If you want us to manage production and ship physical assets anywhere, we can do that too.
Visual Identity:
You’ll get the digital files for your logo or word-mark in all of the formats you need.
Digital Assets:
You’ll get final files for everything you need for your campaign in all the formats you need for your social media platforms.
Physical Assets:
Interior Graphics:
You’ll get the full concept worked out, and digital files for sign off. Coordination and final production-ready digital files will follow after coordination with the production house.
What is a sprint?
A design sprint is a time-boxed process that lets you take on complex challenges through sketching, prototyping, and testing. The short time frame and the fact that it’s separate from your day to day helps break out of boxes, foster creativity and create alignment.
Design sprints provide a structured framework for identifying and addressing key challenges or opportunities, enabling teams to bring clarity and focus to complex problems.
Design sprints focus on rapid prototyping and user testing, allowing teams to quickly validate assumptions, gather feedback, iterate on potential solutions, meet user needs or expectations and reduce risks when developing products and features.
The 5 day Sprint
On Monday we’ll have a Playback call where we present what we heard back to you and we’ll make sure we’re on the same page in terms of messaging, tone and deliverables. After the Playback session we get to work and quickly work up options and iterate throughout the week. By Wednesday we’ll have something to share.
How much can happen in just a handful of days? More than you might think. If you want to see how you can kick off, accelerate or turn around your project, or if you’re just sprint-curious, let’s talk.

FAQs
How many people from my team need to attend?
This depends primarily on two things: the nature of your team, and the challenge we’re going to undertake. It’s something we discuss on our call.
The sprints are designed to have as low an impact on your team as possible. Common wisdom is to keep these sprints teams small and lightweight, say 3 – 5 people max.
Because we’re creating documents for production final sign off will be required, so having everyone there who needs to sign off is critical in this case.
What if we want the sprint to be in person?
Our sprints are designed to work remotely, and that’s particularly true for the visual design sprint. One thing to note is that when we are dealing with physical spaces we’ll need someone to provide documentation in terms of photos, video or measurement for the space.
What’s this money back guarantee?
We’re confident that we can take a big leap with you and your team in meeting your challenge. If we haven’t made the progress that we agreed to at the beginning of the sprint, we have two options: we’ll either extend the sprint until we’ve hit the agreed target or we refund your money.
Who owns the work?
We’re going to bring a lot of our proprietary knowledge and assets to the table in the form of methods, templates and activities, but anything that gets produced during those two weeks is considered work product and that’s yours.
What if you need us to sign an NDA?
Not a problem, send it to us before our kick off call, or ask us for ours.
So, you want to change the world? Here’s how sprints can help.
